Banca Comercială Română – Erste Bank is delighted to announce the completion of the project: “Upgrade and extension of Oracle Human Resources, Payroll and iRecruitment, and Business Intelligence”

The project was focused on providing extension and migration services for the integrated Human Resources Management, Payroll and iRecruitment systems in Banca Comercială Română (BCR).

The initial proposal submitted by Logika IT Solutions S.R.L, in partnership with its subcontractor Oracle Romania S.R.L, accomplishes the 3 main goals of BCR.

The first goal is referring to the migration of integrated Human Resources Management , Payroll and  iRecruitment system based on the Oracle Business Suite application to the last technological version which is 12.2,  with the 11g database .  Another objective aims to expand the solution of Human Resources Management, Payroll and iRecruitment system with its new functions in version in iRecruitment 12.2. Also, the solution expansion of the Human Resources Management, Payroll and  iRecruitment by installing the BI HR component based on the Oracle Human Resources Analytics mode has represented an important objective within this project.

The  beneficiary noticed  new benefits from the first stage of this project, a new series of functions that improve the recruitment flow implemented in the iRecruitment solution version R12, optimization of workforce performance analysis on critical information extracted by integrating along the value chain of the institution and transformation of data into comprehensive information, up-to-date and user-ready, all this being achieved through the implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics.

For example, managers can understand better the impact compensations have on employee performance, the correlation between the two and the overall staff flow. Whether they are employees with executive functions, managers or directions managers, users that receive relevant information, updated and practical directly through dashboards, metrics and alerts.

There have been risks through out this implementation: by migrating to EBS 12.2, the risk that some of the current customization to be affected was quite large, and interfaces with other applications would be impacted by the EBS upgrade to 12.2.

The biggest challenge of the project represented the actual migration process in  production, based in Vienna, to the upgraded version because it could generate significant increase in response times to the application level. There weren’t moments of impasse along the implementation, the key success factors followed within the project prevented the appearance of moments of collapse.

The project target group was composed of more than 200 users from Banca Comercială Română,  and the duration of the project was one and a half year. After project completion, Logika IT Solutions remains close to the Beneficiary to provide support and consulting regarding new version of EBS.

The projects accomplished by Logika IT Solutions team represent not only an undeniable success, but also demonstrates the capability to support projects with complex requirements in various fields: industrial manufacturing, utilities, telecommunications, financial services and distribution.
